Absolutely! We can send your loved one’s medicines straight to their address, or to yours. Whichever works best.
As soon as you have your loved one’s consent, it’s really simple to add their details to order medicines for them with LloydsDirect. Log in to your account, select ‘Add another person’, find their GP surgery and enter the full name and address their GP has on file for them. Check the boxes to agree to our terms and conditions, confirm that LloydsDirect will be this person’s preferred pharmacy, and confirm that we can access their Summary Care Record. Then select complete. You will then be able to add medicines to their profile and order for them, just like you would for yourself.
LloydsDirect recognises the importance of keeping safe and secure the information collected about you. We have put in place effective security features. We use 256-AES SSL encryption to transfer your information between your phone and our servers. Access to this information is restricted to authorised people.
No, we contact them for you, ticking another thing off your to-do list. We always confirm the medicine you order with your GP. They review what you've ordered for yourself or your loved one, before sending us a prescription. We do this just in case you order something different by mistake.
You can order medicine for others directly from your own account by logging in, selecting ‘Add another person’, and following the instructions on screen.
